CBF Hallmark

Since 1996, the Central Fundraising Bureau (CBF) has awarded a hallmark to fundraising institutions. Any foundation that wants to be considered for a CBF hallmark must meet the same criteria and follow the same procedure. Fundraising institutions, such as the Roparun Palliative Care Foundation, must be active in the Netherlands for a minimum of three years. The hallmark is awarded for a period of five years, and there are annual checks to determine whether the organisation still meets the criteria set.

The Roparun Palliative Care Foundation received its CBF hallmark on the 1st of August, 2006. This means that anyone making a donation can trust that we will use it wisely. For example, the costs of fundraising cannot be higher than 25% of the money brought in by fundraising. We strive to reach a percentage that is as low as possible, which was 6% for the last fiscal year. For more information, visit the CBF website: www.cbf.nl
